Self-hosted publishing and analytics

Posting Studio is a private tool that its operator runs on their own server to publish videos to the YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts they own, and to read back how those videos performed.

How it works

  1. The operator uploads a source video from their browser.
  2. They choose which of their own channels it is intended for. Each channel gets its own edit of the video and its own caption, prepared for the audience of that channel.
  3. Every caption and every posting option is shown for review and can be edited before anything is sent. Nothing is published without the operator approving it.
  4. Approved posts are queued and published through the official API of each platform, within that platform's published rate limits.
  5. Afterwards the tool reads back view and engagement statistics for those posts, so the operator can see which edit worked better.

This is not a public service. There is no sign-up, no shared accounts and no way for a third party to obtain access. One installation serves one operator, who connects only accounts they themselves own and control.

Data

Access tokens issued by the platforms are stored encrypted and are used only to publish the operator's own content and to read statistics for it. No data about other people is collected, bought or sold. Details are in the privacy policy, and any stored data can be removed on request.
